Language of Love

When my husband and I were first married, we'd say a lot of things that were either misunderstood, too under our breath to be heard clearly or just so out there that we ended up with a few phrases of our own.

One day I was whining, I know shocking, about something insignificant. Apparently, the Rocket Scientist couldn't understand me or needed a way to deal with the whining, because this is how it went down.

Me: Whining to myself

RS: "What's the matter?"

Me: More whining, still not loud enough to be completely understood.

RS: "What did you say? Your tough's broke and you can't turn your whiner off? Is that what you said?"

Me: Now laughing. "Close enough."

So, that is me today. I woke with a headache that qualifies as my "tough is broke and I can't turn my whiner off."

I'll be back tomorrow when my tough is fixed.

Ha, I think your husband must be the coolest. I love when I am trying to be whiny and mad and someone makes me laugh with smart alecy remarks.

So, I have come back to try to scroll more through your blog to find out who you are and my very favorite things that I glanced at were two posts about your kids. one where your son said a prayer instead of an article of faith. Oh I loved that. I just picture everyone trying not to laugh and shrugging like, "well, what ya' goning to do." Also, I liked you telling a kid to make their vitamins quit kissing. There, you can see which posts caught my attention and look what you have done. It is now 10 pm and I have left all my kids popcorn all over the floor while I perused. Sigh.

Jen- Thanks for the well wishes.

Not Growing Up- You tell people were related at your own risk. Ha aha ha ha ha.

Nancy- You don't really know me. I just visit your blog sometimes. Your kids are cute and you are funny so I have I come take a peek here and there.

Flea- Use away. Thanks for the well wishes. My head is feeling a bit better.

Sometimes I don't have headaches! I love our wine & cheese relationship! You know, one of us whines and the other says, "Cheez." I hope you know I have as much cheese as you want and I'm very appreciative of your cheese! I think I owe you some cheese. ;)
